The DroneMasters Academy

The DroneMasters Academy combines drone technology with digital education and the fundamentals of science.

With a wide range of formats for children, teenagers and adults, we open up access to the fascinating subject of “drones” and to the opportunities and areas of application that come with it.

Working with this new technology is used as a way of teaching fundamental knowledge from the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths).

Since 2017 the DroneMasters Academy has been using drones and drone racing to spark enthusiasm for computer science, technology and the natural sciences. More than 7,000 children, teenagers and adults have already taken part in DroneMasters Academy courses.

Kids & Teenagers

The DroneMasters Academy courses for children and teenagers offer many different ways into drone flying, drone building, programming and digitalisation. Across a variety of formats, the possibilities of drone technology are examined and explored. New manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing and laser cutting are covered too.
Our programme includes both multi-day holiday courses for an exciting journey into the world of drones and weekly courses for an intensive introduction to a particular topic. We also offer online courses as a digital way into a range of drone topics.

Schools & Organizations

Drones are an ideal way to convey innovation, to gain an insight into the world of programming and to turn team events into an exciting experience.
Drones are also becoming ever more relevant for public authorities and the public sector. Fire brigades and emergency services increasingly use drones under 250 grams to get an initial overview of a situation. That is why we have developed special formats for public authorities and organisations with security responsibilities (BOS).
