Human Factors and the fundamentals of counter-drone protection for critical infrastructure organisations
The seminar lays the groundwork for effective counter-drone measures by covering the human, organisational and legal aspects of protecting critical infrastructure. Participants learn to understand the requirements for critical infrastructure operators (KRITIS) and to establish the processes needed to make well-founded decisions about detection and defence systems.
While technical solutions are increasingly available, people remain decisive for putting them to work effectively. The seminar focuses on Human Factors, training and the ability to make decisions in critical situations. Security staff and operators of critical infrastructure (KRITIS) gain the understanding of legal and procedural aspects they need in order to respond to drone threats on a sound legal basis.

Security managers, operators of critical infrastructure (KRITIS), works security staff, IT and facility managers, representatives of public authorities and organisations with security responsibilities (BOS), data centre managers, operators of industrial facilities and service providers in the field of works and site security.
Seminar objective
Conveying the obligations of critical infrastructure operators (KRITIS) in the event of drone threats, with a focus on Human Factors: organisational, legal and procedural aspects of detection, assessment and response. The seminar prepares participants for the implementation of technical countermeasures.

Methodology: Interactive lectures, group exercises, case analyses, simulation exercises and practical examples from recent incidents in the field of drone security.
Duration: 2-day seminar (alternatively as a one-day compact version at companies/public authorities)
Completion: Certificate of participation documenting the knowledge taught on legal fundamentals, risk assessment, Human Factors and the ability to act in the event of drone threats in the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) context.
