Branko May Trinkwald has been online since the age of eight and learned early on how to combine many different areas of digitalisation. Whether building his first PCs or BNC networks, he was concerned from the very start with matching the right hardware configuration to the corresponding drivers. While working as an assistant at 3D Company he came into contact with the Unix world for the first time and was able to render his first video scenes on large SGI machines. Connecting TV video systems and digital editing systems to the network played a major role back then in processing the images produced (Betacam & Avid).

With the arrival of drone technology in recent years, his working environment has changed and expanded considerably. The new technology allowed him to put his experience to use in combining the data and processes of autonomous robots such as drones. For drones to take off, a variety of sensors and systems have to be enabled to communicate with one another in the right way. It was this challenge that drew Branko into working intensively with drone technology.

Since then Branko has accompanied countless events with drones and captured them on video. He uses both stabilised models such as the DJI Inspire and FPV drones in order to produce footage that is as dynamic as possible.
